Well at least with the remodel completed in Lincoln Nebraska, The employees cant take naked pictures of FEMALE members while they are tanning. The Lincoln Blue Moon Fitness was notorious for employees doing that. But if you ask the manager he will lie to you and tell you it never happened that was Brad Frields then and Larry the current manager. This is a picture of Brad Frields who used to look at the Nude pictures that his employees were taking of NAKED ladies at Blue Moon Fitness when the tanning rooms were upstairs the tanning salons had no roof male employees just hoped on a chair to get over the wall and snap photos of unsuspecting females tanning (they moved the tanning rooms now with the remodel so it wouldnt happen anymore). HE is now a bank employee but before that transition Brad was the store manager of Blue Moon Fitness in Lincoln NE. This guy "STOLE" cash from the register energy drinks and clothing and weight plates. This store manager Brad Frields allowed every employee who wanted to steal to steal like he stole, Blue Moon did not keep inventory if they were ever caught Brad told everyone of us who worked there to DENY EVERYTHING and not to TELL ON EACH OTHER my former boss Brad Frields said its what his Lincoln Nebraska Police Officer "FRIEND" told him to do Lie and Deny its a common theme in Blue Moon Fitness Managers Larry, Blaze Okerlund, and Brad Frields. My boyfriend was a Gold's member for roughly 8 years and stayed with the gym when it transitioned to Blue Moon. Yesterday, I witnessed how much Blue Moon does NOT value loyalty. This gym is dirty, overcrowded, and lacks heavy weights anyways. There are way better gyms out there for us than to be subjected to this kind of condescending treatment at Blue Moon. I would not recommend going to them they maybe lower priced, but like is often said you get what you pay for don't pay for their services. They wouldn't even refund me my money so I'm guessing they are in serious need of any penny they can get. Try a different place like Aspen Athletics or Prairie Life Fitness they are more accommodating more knowledgeable, and straight forward they are not trying to get a sale by throwing you under a bus. They have all these fees worked into this place that you actually don't get much of a discount at all. I was flat out lied to about everything in the contract now I know to read thoroughly myself instead of what they highlight as important.

Don't join this gym. It used to be good, when it was Gold's and had dumbbells bigger than 85lbs. 80% of the gym is machines, free weight space is getting smaller and smaller. The tanning beds are old and unmaintained. The price is good but the product has steadily gone downhill. They changed their hours and I can't workout friday nights anymore. Today they actually had some guy in a bunny suit harrassing people for memberships as they left the gym, which makes no sense, because they have already bought the gym membership, why are you harrassing your members? I'll be getting rid of my membership soon, been one for 6 years, it's sad.

Avoid at all costs. Gym itself is a joke, ok if you're looking for a simple workout. However, if you ever try to cancel your account, well - good luck. Customer service reps are rude and the 'no contract' advertisement is a lie. Save yourself some stress and go somewhere else!

The workout area is fine. The cheap price is fine. The customer service is terrible. I always paid my monthly dues and never gripped about the place one time. I told people about the gym and advertised for the gym. However, when I move from the area I can't even get a break on my cancellation fees. No one cares about the customer any more. You can tell me to read my contract and yadda yadda, but when it comes down to it, you just want the green. It is too bad that no one cares about the working man anymore. Shame on Blue Moon and companies just like it.

The customer service is horrible and the manager is rude and a liar. I thought my account had been closed in September and in March I found out otherwise via a letter from a collection agency. The next day Blue Moon called me to tell me there was a problem with my account. It was there first attempt to let me know. Apparently, they don't let you know if something is wrong unless you walk into the gym, so if you don't go in, thinking your account is closed, they just keep racking up charges on you for six months and then hit you with an unpaid bill.

Gold's gym is now Blue Moon Fitness, as you probably know by now, but the service and billing area terrible. When I went in to cancel my membership, I was told my last two payments from my checking account were declined, which is odd because I had still received notice that deductions had taken place. They also added fees to these "late" payments. When I inquired why I wasn't notified about this, they said it's not in their policy to tell people that their payments weren't made....would this have continued for eternity if I hadn't stopped in? When I agreed to make the last two payments and cancel my membership and asked that they cancel the "late" fees, I was told "this wasn't possible." Well, why not? Banks do it all the time, and I didn't even know these payments apparently hadn't gone through. It was at this point that Dan, the manager, (who by the way refused to let me see the computer screen with the payment info on it) began yelling at me in front of the other employees and customers...totally unacceptable for a company that has a special rules agreement about being polite. Do yourself a favor -don't be taken in by the low monthly fee - stay away from this hellhole with hidden fees and obnoxious managers just waiting to gouge you when they can.

Horrible place and company, do not recommend it to anyone. They are more than willing to bend you over and take your money without even bothering to try and help you. God forbid you miss a payment because your card changes, because they will double the payment for every month and not even bother to tell you that they are doing this. You won't get an email, you wont get a letter in the mail, HELL you wont even get a phone call telling you this is going on. Then, when you go in to try and explain this to them, they will tell you sorry, just the way it is and it cant be changed. Can only say this: I hope they fail as a company since they are a failure as a company, and I can only pray that people dont join this horrible place that is run down and a joke of a gym.

They have horrible customer service and don't care to have you as a customer. They also have multiple defective equipment that they don't ever bother fixing. I would have to try out 5 different treadmills before I found one that worked correctly. Your car in the parking lot is not safe as there has been multiple times where cars were broken into and Blue Moon Fitness has done nothing to make the parking lot safer as they feel it's not their responsibility. Spend a little bit more a month at a better gym instead of going to this horrible place.

Now I’m going to read some more of Larry’s review's perhaps you will too I think they are funny as they always portray Blue Moon Fitness staff in a light of I’m just doing my job or you want to get my employee fired and this has to be written all by the same person. You’ll never hear Larry admit that Adam is an alcoholic or a peeping tom. Larry would rather defend Adam the employee is never wrong at Blue Moon Fitness.

they can at least be nice to the members, I've never worked out at a gym where employees could talk to gym members the way that this business allows its employees too act so rudely, its good business to be nice to members? Blue Moon Fitness told me “We are not for everyone and today everyone is you”, all I did was ask what the rules were and they told me if you have to ask there's the door. Way to go Blue Moon Fitness Lincoln Nebraska BBB grade F ranked take a look for yourself. It's probably ranked like that because of the way that they treat the members.

I had a bad experience at Blue Moon Fitness in Lincoln Nebraska, they turned on the alarm because I dropped weight on the floor on accident. Everyone in the gym was looking at me it was an accident and I said I was sorry my grip just gave way, a tall black haired employee told me I had to leave the gym and that my shirt was in violation of the dress code they have because it was intimidating to other people working out there, I said I was sorry but he told me that Blue Moon Fitness wasn't the place for me im 45 years old and I was embarrassed enough to have an alarm sounded because I had dropped a weight. I asked him his name he said it was Adam.

My experience at Blue Moon Fitness in Lincoln Nebraska was, “Horrible” the Lincoln Blue Moon is something different when the old manager Larry leaves for the end of his shift his employees do whatever they want. They give out free drinks TO ALL OF THEIR FRIENDS so they “STEAL”, clock in workout instead of work,,,, Adam and Brett of the Lincoln Blue Moon brag about how they get away with the things that they do the Manager Larry is putty in their hands they said Larry thinks of them as his sons so he's their daddy. This explains why Adam and Brett steal, behave rudely to members and run amuck most people won't say anything because the manager would just kick them out what an INJUSTICE to Customers and Members as ive been warned to hush up by Adam and Brett or LEAVE, but that's the LINCOLN BLUE MOON FITNESS. This is my review. VERY POOR for the time being because they have a horrible STAFF (EMPLOYEES) the worse of the worse work at Lincoln Blue Moon Fitness.

Adam Karpisek's motto is its $10.00 A MONTH what do you expect he treats people like crap" Lincoln Blue Moon this employee is intoxicated when he works ALONE. SHAME of BLUE MOON FITNESS! CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT, "BLUE MOON FITNESS ~ THEY ARE SERVED" they hire mean people like black haired TALL Adam Karpisek whose continued employment is like a pat on the back for being mean to members maybe Blue Moon Fitness encourages their employees to treat the customer like they can kick them out whenever they want because they sure do reward Adam by keeping him employed" no red carpet for their customers at the Lincoln Blue Moon this employee has the smell of beer on his breathe every time he works the nightshift alone. The Lincoln Gym has a small parking lot really small, every time they run a $10.00 promotion that Blue Moon has an Overwhelming amount of people. QUESTION AS TO How many people who are members really get use of it when it's so crowded WOULD YOU GET USE OF IT, many people quit because of how overcrowded I believe it's a safety hazard to have so many people under one roof at the same time I don't even think it's legal to do so the Nebraska fire marshal needs to look into this Lincoln Blue Moon Fitness when it gets crowded. Do yourself a favor and pass on Blue Moon Fitness and go to a gym or fitness place that has lax rules and nice employees because you will not get this at Blue Moon Fitness not with bad management and worse people like Adam.

The staff can be really mean and rude. They just don't care about their jobs they act like you're lucky to be a member at Blue Moon Fitness. Don't get me wrong they say hello but the employees gossip about the people who work out there and its usually mean and it's no surprise that they are mean to the people that they gossip about, so be careful what you say when you work out here it's better not to talk to the staff at all. I have seen and heard them ask people to leave and not return so basically a kick out but I'm certain those people went to Aspen, I've heard they are really nice to people coming over from blue moon fitness. Overall the staff is really rude.
